Phoenix Scales Ltd acquire Crane Scales Ltd
As of the 5th November 2010 Phoenix Scales Ltd acquired Crane Scales Ltd – Crane Scales has been integrated into Phoenix Scales and will be operate from the one site – 34 Oldbury Road, West Bromwich.
This is a significant step in the growth of Phoenix Scales and with the additional test equipment now enables calibration of crane scales up to 50,000kg and weigh-pads up to 10,000kg and additional crane scale hire equipment further strengthens Phoenix Scales position as the number one supplier of weighing hire equipment in the country.
With the acquisition of Crane Scales it now means that Phoenix Scales are UK distributors for Measurement Systems International (MSI) Cranescales and Industrial Weighing Equipment and EHP Crane Scales.
With the expertise of Crane Scales staff and associated equipment we are able to support both end users and the weighing trade in the calibration of suspended weighing scales.
Phoenix Scales acquire surface mount component counting specialists KFC
As part of their strategic growth plans Phoenix Scales Ltd have acquired Gloucestershire based surface mount component and weighing company KFC.
This will strengthen Phoenix Scales Ltd particular in the Surface Mount Component Counting market with additional hire stock of surface mount counting systems.
It will also open up new customers to Phoenix Scales with the prospect of offering Service & Calibration Services as well.
Phoenix Scales are constantly looking for growth areas and this acquisition will benefit both Phoenix Scales customers and KFC customers.
