iVehicleWeigh is a fully integrated RFX wireless weighing app that lets users send weight data from the Intercomp range of weigh pads directly to an iPhone, iPod or iPad. Readings can be saved and emailed straight from the device, and the app is available to download from iTunes, making it simple to capture and share vehicle weight data on site.

Specification

The app uses Intercomp’s RFX wireless weighing technology to communicate directly with compatible Intercomp weigh pad systems, removing the need for a separate handheld display or cabled connection. An optional iVehicleWeigh module extends this compatibility further, allowing direct communication with a wider range of other Intercomp scale systems, so the app can be matched to the specific weigh pad set-up already in use.

Capacity & Application

Because readings are captured and stored directly on the iPhone, iPod or iPad, results can be reviewed, saved and emailed on site without needing to return to an office or separate PC, which is particularly useful for axle and vehicle weighing carried out at the roadside, on yards or across multiple sites. This makes iVehicleWeigh well suited to hauliers, weighbridge operators and enforcement teams who need quick access to accurate vehicle weight data while away from a fixed base.

Approvals

Phoenix Scales is a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory, ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified, and supplies, sets up and supports the Intercomp weigh pad systems that iVehicleWeigh connects to, along with UKAS-traceable calibration for the pads themselves, plus ongoing service and repair support for the hardware.
