Ranger 3000 Counting Scales

The multipurpose Ranger Count 3000 has all of the capabilities to produce precise results rapidly for a variety of applications. With weighing, parts counting, check counting and accumulation functions, the Ranger Count 3000 is an ideal scale for meeting many industrial counting needs. It is portable and equipped with a rechargeable battery, making it just as useful moved between departments as it is left running permanently in one corner of the factory, and it is equipped with functions and features that put it in a class of its own among general-purpose counting scales.

Specification

The Ranger Count 3000 features a clear 20.5 mm LCD display that makes piece counts, unit weights and totals easy to read from a distance on a busy production line. Its housing is constructed from durable ABS plastic with a stainless steel top pan, giving the scale a hygienic, easy-to-clean weighing surface that stands up well to repeated industrial use. Power is supplied either from the mains or from the built-in rechargeable battery pack, which is rated for up to 210 hours of use between charges, allowing the scale to be used cordlessly for extended periods. For connecting to other equipment, the scale is fitted with an RS232 port as standard, with optional Ethernet or USB communication available for linking to PCs, printers or wider inventory systems.

Capacity & Application

As a parts-counting platform, the Ranger Count 3000 is used to establish an accurate average piece weight from a small sample and then rapidly calculate the number of identical items on the platform, making it well suited to stock-taking, kitting, quality checks and production line counting of small components, fasteners and packaged goods. The check-counting and accumulation functions allow operators to verify that a batch matches an expected quantity and to keep a running total across multiple weighments, which is particularly useful in warehousing, goods-in inspection and order-picking environments where counting accuracy directly affects stock control.

Phoenix Scales is a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory and an ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified company. We supply, install and calibrate the Ranger Count 3000 with UKAS-traceable certification available on request, and our engineers provide ongoing servicing, repair and re-calibration support to keep the scale counting accurately throughout its working life.
