Valor 2000 Bench Scales

The OHAUS Valor 2000 is a water-resistant food scale that combines speed and durability, available in both stainless steel and plastic housing designs to suit different kitchen, retail or production environments. Large front and rear LED displays and food-safe, puncture-resistant keypads make it a strong value option for both dry and wash-down areas.

Specification

The Valor 2000 uses a 20.5mm backlit LED display fitted to both the front and rear of the scale, so the reading can be seen by the operator and by a customer or colleague facing the opposite way. The IP68-rated ABS case protects the internal electronics from water ingress during washdown cleaning, while the puncture-resistant keypad is designed to withstand daily use in busy food preparation or retail environments. Power is supplied via an AC adaptor or the included rechargeable batteries, so the scale can be used at a fixed position or wherever mains power is not convenient.

With its water-resistant construction and food-safe keypad, the Valor 2000 is well suited to food preparation areas, butchers, delicatessens, kitchens and retail counters where the scale is regularly washed down or exposed to spills. The dual front and rear display also makes it a practical choice for retail weighing where both the operator and the customer need to see the reading clearly.
