Calibration of Scales and Weighing Equipment

Phoenix Scales offer two levels of CALIBRATION

•  Calibration in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Standard
•  Standard Calibration traceable to National Standards which falls under our ISO 9001:2015 Standard – BSI Accreditation
All our calibrations are carried out by qualified engineers using calibrated test weights traceable to national standards.

We provide nationwide coverage for on-site calibration of all types of weighing equipment from analytical balances to weighbridges.  For customers who require an ISO17025 calibration or who have to comply with ISO/TS16949 – Phoenix Scales is accredited to ISO/IEC17025 for the on-site calibration of weighing equipment up to 6000kg capacity. Alternatively, for smaller weighing scales, crane scales and load-links these can be sent into the Workshop for calibration, where we offer an efficient service with a fast turn-a-round time.

We have three Test Levers for calibration of Crane Scales and Load-Links up to 30,000kg capacity and also a Compression Test Rig for calibration of Weigh Pads and Loadcells up to 10,000kg capacity.

PHOENIX SCALES is also approved by the National Measurement Office to meet the requirements of the non-automatic weighing Instruments Directive (2014/31/EU) and the non-automatic weighing instruments regulations (SI 2000 No. 3236) for EC self-verification and UK re-verification of weighing equipment for Trade Approved applications.”
