Beam & Pallet Scales

Phoenix Scales’ beam and pallet scales are a low-profile weighing platform available in either mild steel or stainless steel, depending on the application and the environment the scale will be used in. Each unit is fitted with four loadcells for accurate, evenly distributed weight sensing, plus wheels and handles so the scale can be moved around a warehouse or production floor without lifting equipment.

Specification

The platform has a low profile design measuring approximately 72mm in height, 1200mm in length and 130mm in width, allowing pallets and goods to be rolled or slid onto the scale with minimal ramp height. Four loadcells are built into the frame to give stable, repeatable readings across the full platform area, and the mild steel or stainless steel construction is chosen to suit the application, with stainless steel typically specified for washdown, food or corrosive environments. The compact dimensions also make the scale easy to store or transport between sites when it is not in continuous use.

Capacity & Application

Standard units offer a weighing capacity of 3000kg with 0.5kg resolution, making them suitable for weighing palletised goods, drums, cages and other loaded pallets in warehouses, distribution centres and production areas. The fitted wheels and handles mean the scale can be positioned wherever it is needed and moved out of the way when not in use, and the low profile design allows pallet trucks and manual handling equipment to load the platform easily.

Phoenix Scales is a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory, ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified. This beam and pallet scale can be supplied, installed and calibrated by our engineers with UKAS-traceable certification, with ongoing service, calibration and repair available once it is in use.
