Colour Check Weigher IP68

This is a versatile and high performing IP68 stainless steel check weight indicator. The 40 mm large coloured backlit display gives a clear view of the weight and helps the user during weighing operations. The wide range of available functions and interfaces make it suitable for multiple industrial and commercial weighing applications, such as check weighing, floor scales and fork truck scales.

Specification

The indicator is fitted with a 40 mm colour changing display, with selectable colours, so different weight bands or pass/fail results can be signalled at a glance. It carries an IP68 protection rating in a stainless steel housing, giving a high level of protection against dust and continuous immersion in water for use in wet or heavily washed-down environments. Power is provided by a 110/240 Vac supply, or an optional rechargeable battery where a mains connection is not practical. Connectivity is via an RS232/C port, or optionally RS485, a bi-directional interface configurable for connection to a PC, PLC, remote display or radio modem, allowing the indicator to be integrated into wider control and monitoring systems.

Capacity & Application

The indicator supports check weighing, formulation, accumulation, counting and printing modes, so a single unit can be configured for a range of different weighing tasks rather than being limited to a single function. Its IP68-rated stainless steel construction and wide interface options make it suitable for check weighing lines, floor scales and fork truck scales across industrial and commercial sites, including washdown areas and environments where dust or moisture would affect a less protected indicator. Optional Ethernet, Bluetooth, input/output, RS485C, alibi memory and a time/date clock extend the base unit further, allowing it to be networked, logged and time-stamped to suit more demanding traceability or reporting requirements.

Phoenix Scales is a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory and an ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified company. We supply, install and calibrate the Colour Check Weigher range with UKAS-traceable certification, and our engineers provide ongoing servicing, repair and re-calibration support to keep the indicator operating accurately throughout its working life.
