DFWLBN ABS IP68

The DFWLBN digital weight indicator is manufactured in ABS and designed for general weighing, counting and force measurement in industrial environments. Its high IP68 protection rating and built-in long-life battery make it particularly well suited to automotive and mobile weighing applications where the indicator may be exposed to dust, water or washdown conditions.

Specification

The indicator has a 25mm backlit LCD display for clear readability in varying light conditions, and an IP68 protection rating that allows it to withstand dust ingress and temporary submersion in water. Power is provided by an inbuilt rechargeable battery offering approximately 60 hours of use between charges, along with a mains charger for topping up on site. As standard the unit is fitted with an RS232 interface for connecting to a PC or printer, and it can be specified with Bluetooth, RS485C, alibi memory or a time/date clock to suit more advanced data logging or connectivity requirements.

Capacity & Application

Because it is housed in a rugged ABS enclosure with IP68 protection, the DFWLBN is suited to weighing, counting and force applications in environments where standard indicators would not survive, including automotive workshops, mobile weighing units and other harsh or washdown environments. The long battery life and mains charging option mean it can be used away from a fixed power supply for extended periods.

Phoenix Scales is a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory, ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified. This indicator can be supplied, installed and calibrated by our engineers with UKAS-traceable certification, and we offer ongoing service, calibration and repair support throughout its working life.
