DFWLKi Bench Scale

The DFWLKi bench scale offers a wide range of available functions, making it suitable for multiple industrial and commercial weighing applications, with its stainless steel IP68 construction and data communications interfaces. The numeric keypad allows entry for tare and target weights depending on the operation, so operators can quickly set up the scale for the task in hand.

Specification

The DFWLKi is fitted with a 25 mm backlit LCD display, giving a clear weight readout in a range of lighting conditions, and carries an IP68 protection rating for use in wet or dusty environments. Power is supplied via a 110/240 Vac connection. Connectivity is via an RS232/C port, or optionally RS485, a bi-directional interface configurable for connection to a PC, PLC, remote display or radio modem. Optional Ethernet, Bluetooth, input/output, RS485C, alibi memory and a time/date clock are available, allowing the scale to be networked and its readings logged and time-stamped where required.

Capacity & Application

The DFWLKi is supplied with a mild or stainless steel platform scale, which can be connected to a column if required, giving the option of a low bench-mounted platform or a raised, easier to read column-mounted arrangement. Various platform sizes and capacities are available to suit your application, so the scale can be matched to the size and weight of the goods being handled. The stainless steel, IP68-rated construction makes it well suited to industrial and commercial environments where washdown, dust or general heavy use would affect a less protected scale, while the numeric keypad and data interfaces support tasks such as target weighing and data logging.

Phoenix Scales is a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory and an ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified company. We supply, install and calibrate the DFWLKi bench scale range with UKAS-traceable certification, and our engineers provide ongoing servicing, repair and re-calibration support to keep each scale operating accurately throughout its working life.
