DFWLki Stainless Steel IP68

The DFWLki digital weight indicator is built with a stainless steel IP68 enclosure and a wide range of available functions, making it suitable for multiple industrial and commercial weighing applications. A numeric keypad allows tare and target weights to be entered directly, and its data communication interfaces make it easy to integrate into wider weighing or process control systems.

Specification

The indicator features a 25mm backlit LCD display for clear readability, housed in an IP68-rated stainless steel enclosure that withstands washdown, dust and corrosive environments. It runs from a 110/240V AC supply and is fitted as standard with a bi-directional RS232/C port (optionally RS485) that can be configured for connection to a PC, PLC, remote display or radio modem. Optional extras include Ethernet, Bluetooth, additional inputs/outputs, RS485C, alibi memory and a time/date clock, allowing the indicator to be tailored to more advanced data logging, traceability or connectivity requirements.

Capacity & Application

The stainless steel IP68 construction and numeric keypad make this indicator well suited to food production, pharmaceutical, chemical and other washdown or hygienic environments where a standard indicator enclosure would not be durable enough. Tare and target weight entry via the keypad supports batching, checkweighing and general industrial or commercial weighing tasks.

Phoenix Scales is a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory, ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified. This indicator can be supplied, installed and calibrated by our engineers with UKAS-traceable certification, with ongoing service, calibration and repair available once it is in use. We also carry out planned preventative maintenance visits to keep indicators like this performing accurately over their working life.
