ETI Hygienx Floor Platform

The ETI HYGIENX® washdown floor scale is designed for strict sanitary environments. The platform base is made of solid stainless steel AISI 304 vertical plates, providing superior protection against bacteria growth compared with designs that have horizontal ledges or crevices where contamination can build up. The top plate opens to 75 degrees, allowing the entire scale interior to be washed and inspected, and the ETI HYGIENX® is ideal for food processing, pharmaceutical and chemical applications.

Specification

The scale has a rugged washdown design, with a rigid 304 stainless steel frame constructed using continuous welds rather than fasteners or seams that could trap contamination. It meets HACCP requirements, supporting food safety management systems that rely on hygienic equipment design. Weighing is performed by four stainless steel, hermetically sealed, IP69K shear beam load cells, connected via an IP68/IP69K JB4QIP69K junction box, which is included as standard. Four adjustable stainless steel support feet allow the platform to be levelled on uneven floors, and manual drop-in-place safety bars are fitted to support the platform safely when it is raised for cleaning.

Capacity & Application

The top plate opens 75 degrees without the use of tools, so operators can quickly access the underside of the platform for washdown and inspection as part of routine cleaning schedules, without needing a toolkit or maintenance visit. This ease of access, combined with the IP69K-rated load cells and continuous-weld stainless steel frame, makes the ETI HYGIENX® well suited to food processing, pharmaceutical and chemical production environments where floor scales are washed down frequently and must meet strict hygiene standards such as HACCP. The solid AISI 304 vertical plate base further reduces the risk of bacteria growth compared with less hygienic floor scale designs.

The ETI HYGIENX® is designed to meet HACCP requirements and uses IP69K-rated load cells and junction box for hygienic, washdown-heavy environments. Phoenix Scales is a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory and an ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified company. We supply, install and calibrate the ETI HYGIENX® range with UKAS-traceable certification, and our engineers provide ongoing servicing, repair and re-calibration support to keep each platform performing accurately throughout its working life.
