Floor Platform

Our range of platform scales are manufactured in either stainless or mild steel, suitable for all types of industrial and commercial applications. Manufactured in the United Kingdom, they feature an 8 mm top plate with U channel bracing beneath for strength, giving a rigid, heavy duty loading surface for everyday use.

Specification

Each platform is fitted with 4 shear-beam OIML approved load cells, each with 350 Ohm input resistance, and each carrying protection against dust rated at IP66 to IP68 depending on your application, allowing the platform to be specified for anything from a dry indoor store to a wet or dusty production environment. Adjustable levelling feet are fitted as standard, so the platform can be set level even on an uneven floor, and optional high resolution models are available where finer readability is required than a standard platform scale provides. Standard or bespoke sizes are available to suit your exact requirements, so the platform footprint can be matched to the goods being weighed.

Capacity & Application

If you choose to utilise our coil weighing scales, these are a heavier duty platform with double ended shear beam loadcells for the ultimate strength, manufactured to suit your application and calibrated to large remote displays for ease of viewing, making them suitable for weighing metal coils and other heavy, awkwardly shaped loads. The standard platform range, with its 8 mm top plate and U channel bracing, suits general industrial and commercial floor weighing tasks such as goods-in and goods-out checks, warehousing and production weighing, while the heavier duty coil weighing option extends the range to more demanding, high point-load applications.

Approvals

The load cells fitted to our platform scales are OIML approved, supporting accurate, verifiable weighing results across industrial and commercial applications. Phoenix Scales is a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory and an ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified company. We manufacture, install and calibrate our platform scale range with UKAS-traceable certification, and our engineers provide ongoing servicing, repair and re-calibration support to keep each platform performing accurately throughout its working life.
