LTF Twin Forks

These weighing forks replace your existing forks and are the easiest and most versatile solution to turn your forklift into a mobile scale. Each weighing fork has two stainless steel IP68 load cells fitted with lithium batteries and a low power Bluetooth connection linked to the cab mounted display, so the truck operator can weigh a load without leaving the cab.

Specification

The LTF Twin Forks offer a 2500 kg weighing capacity, with a resolution of 1 / 2 kg for non trade use, or a trade approved resolution of 2 / 5 kg, and a maximum tilt of +/- 2% for legal for trade operation. Weighing is carried out via stainless steel IP68 load cells built into each fork, powered by lithium ion batteries rated for up to 90 hours of use per weigh fork, with data sent over a low power Bluetooth connection. Each fork weighs 68 kg, and the display is a cab mounted 25 mm LCD, powered directly from the fork truck, so no separate power source or cabling to the forks themselves is required.

Capacity & Application

With a 2500 kg weighing capacity and the choice of standard or trade approved resolution, the LTF Twin Forks suit warehousing, logistics and goods handling operations where pallets and loads need to be weighed as they are moved rather than requiring a separate trip to a fixed platform scale. The trade approved 2 / 5 kg resolution option, combined with the +/- 2% max tilt specification, allows the forks to be used where the weight result needs to be legal for trade, such as invoicing goods by weight at the point of handling. The cab mounted display and Bluetooth-linked load cells mean the operator can read the weight without leaving the truck, speeding up put-away, loading and goods-in processes.

Approvals

The LTF Twin Forks can be supplied in a trade approved configuration, offering a 2 / 5 kg resolution and a maximum tilt of +/- 2% to meet legal for trade requirements. Phoenix Scales is a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory and an ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified company. We supply, install and calibrate the LTF Twin Forks range with UKAS-traceable certification, and our engineers provide ongoing servicing, repair and re-calibration support to keep each set of forks performing accurately throughout its working life.
