PT DW Solar Portable Weigh Pad

The PT DW range of vehicle weigh pads allows axle and vehicle weights to be captured on site without a fixed weighbridge. Each pad has an individual capacity of between 2500kg and 18000kg with an accuracy of +/-1%, and the pads are fully battery operated, needing only infrequent charging thanks to the supplied charger.

Specification

Each weigh pad has a backlit display so readings remain visible at night or in low light, and wireless technology allows every axle pad to be totalised together without trailing cables between pads. A low battery indicator warns when a pad needs charging, and the rechargeable battery allows the pads to be used away from a fixed electrical supply. A solar powered version is also available for sites where mains charging is impractical, which is useful for long-term or remote installations where mains power is not easily accessible.

Capacity & Application

Individual pads are rated from 2500kg to 18000kg capacity, with a combined system capacity of up to 25000kg, making the range suitable for weighing axles on cars, vans, HGVs and other vehicles at the roadside, on yards or at weigh-in-motion checkpoints. The cable-free wireless design and portable format mean the pads can be moved between sites and set up quickly wherever vehicle weight checks are needed, from routine fleet checks to overload enforcement.

Phoenix Scales is a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory, ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified. These weigh pads can be supplied, installed and calibrated by our engineers with UKAS-traceable certification, with ongoing service and repair support available once in use.
