Small capacity electronic round platforms made in anodized blue aluminium, the RPLC range combines a precise and sturdy structure with a compact footprint, making it suitable for scales and automatic weight checking systems across a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. The standard version is supplied complete with an approved load cell, so it is ready to be connected to a compatible weight indicator as soon as it arrives on site.
Each RPLC platform functions with an approved aluminium “single point” load cell built to OIML R60 standards, with protection against dust and water splashes to IP65 standards, so it can be used confidently in washdown and light industrial environments. The structure itself is anodized blue aluminium with adjustable resting feet and a level indicator, allowing the platform to be set up perfectly flat on uneven floors, and it is topped with a stainless steel weighing plate for a hygienic, easy-to-clean surface. The platform is powered by a 15 Vdc supply and connects to its indicator using a shielded 1.5 m cable fitted with connectors, keeping installation simple and reliable.
The RPLC range is available in four capacities to suit different small-scale weighing tasks: the RPLC1 has a capacity of 1.5 kg with 0.2 kg resolution, the RPLC3 a capacity of 3 kg with 0.5 kg resolution, the RPLC6 a capacity of 6 kg with 1 kg resolution, and the RPLC15 a capacity of 15 kg with 2 kg resolution, with all four models sharing the same 178 mm diameter, 45 mm high platform footprint. This makes the range well suited to small parts weighing, automatic in-line weight checking, portion control and light bench-top applications where a compact, low-capacity platform needs to be built into a larger machine or checking system.
The RPLC load cell is approved to OIML R60 standards, which underpins the legal-for-trade accuracy of the platform when correctly integrated with a compatible approved indicator. Phoenix Scales is also a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory and an ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified company. We supply, install and calibrate the RPLC range with UKAS-traceable certification available on request, and our engineers provide ongoing servicing, repair and re-calibration support to keep each platform reading accurately throughout its working life.
