Phoenix Scales hires out a range of test weights for calibrating and verifying weighing equipment on site, from 20kg bar weights supplied on pallets through to heavier 250kg and 500kg block weights fitted with lifting eyes and forklift skids for easy handling.
Smaller test weights are supplied as 20kg bar weights palletised for straightforward handling and transport, while the larger 250kg and 500kg block weights are fitted with lifting eyes for crane or hoist handling and forklift skids so they can be moved and positioned safely using standard warehouse equipment. Every weight is supplied with a current calibration certificate traceable to either UKAS or National Standards, so the certification is ready to use as soon as the weights arrive on site and no additional paperwork is needed before testing begins.
The range covers everything from light bar weights up to substantial 500kg blocks, making it suitable for verifying platform scales, weighbridges, crane scales and other weighing equipment across a wide range of capacities. Phoenix Scales can also deliver and collect the weights using our own transport, offering a complete hire service without the customer needing to arrange separate haulage or handling equipment of their own, which is particularly useful for one-off verification checks or annual calibration reviews.
Phoenix Scales is a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory, ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified. Test weights are supplied with a current UKAS or National Standards traceable calibration certificate, and our engineers can also carry out on-site calibration and verification of your own equipment using this test weight hire service.
