The Wall E is a bench and floor scale with column, built around a multifunction weight indicator, a hard and sturdy structure and a stainless steel loading surface. It is easy to use and versatile, guaranteeing precision and reliability for everyday weighing tasks. The scale is particularly suitable for industrial and commercial use, and is also available in a CE-M approved version conforming to OIML R-76 / EN 45501 standards for legal-for-trade applications.

Specification

The Wall E is fitted with a 25 mm LCD display on its multifunction weight indicator, giving a clear, easy-to-read readout in a variety of lighting conditions. The unit carries an IP65 protection rating, so the indicator is sealed against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, making it suitable for washdown areas and busy production environments. Power is supplied by 4 AA batteries housed in an extractable drawer for quick replacement, or by a 12V external power adapter for continuous mains operation, so the scale can be used as a portable battery unit or a fixed mains-powered station depending on the application. The loading surface itself is manufactured from stainless steel, chosen for its durability, corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning, while the supporting column and base are built to a hard, sturdy structure designed to withstand daily use in demanding workplaces.

Wall E bench and floor scales are configured as either a low-profile bench model or a floor-standing column model, allowing the same reliable weighing platform to be adapted to the available space and the way goods are handled on site. The stainless steel platform and IP65-rated indicator make the range well suited to industrial production lines, warehousing and logistics operations, and commercial premises such as retail or trade counters where robust, everyday weighing is required. The extractable battery drawer allows the scale to be used away from a fixed power source, while the 12V adapter option suits permanent installations where the scale remains in one place. The CE-M approved version is intended for applications where the weight result is used for trade, invoicing or legal purposes, while the standard version suits general industrial and commercial weighing where formal legal-for-trade certification is not required.

Approvals

The CE-M approved variant of the Wall E is certified to OIML R-76 / EN 45501 standards, meaning it meets the recognised European requirements for legal-for-trade, non-automatic weighing instruments and can be used where a certified, tamper-evident weight reading is required. Phoenix Scales is a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory and an ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified company. We supply, install and calibrate the Wall E range with UKAS-traceable certification, and our engineers provide ongoing servicing, repair and re-calibration support to keep the scale operating accurately throughout its working life.
