We will deliver, install and stamp the weighbridge for trade use if required, so the hired unit can be relied upon for invoicing and legal-for-trade weighing from the moment it is commissioned on site.

Specification

Our hire fleet now includes the dual track weighbridge, which is supplied in modular form so it can be transported and installed quickly and with minimal disruption to site operations. The dual track design provides two parallel weighing paths, allowing vehicles to be weighed efficiently where traffic flow needs to be kept moving. The unit has a low profile of just 220 mm, which is significantly shallower than many traditional weighbridge platforms. Because the platform sits closer to ground level, less approach and departure ramp length is required to bring vehicles up to deck height, meaning the overall footprint needed to install the weighbridge on site is reduced compared with deeper, pit-mounted or above-ground alternatives.

Weighbridge hire from Phoenix Scales is suited to sites that need heavy vehicle weighing on a temporary or interim basis, including situations where an existing weighbridge is out of service for repair or calibration, short-term construction or waste management projects, and businesses trialling a weighbridge before committing to a permanent installation. The modular, low-profile dual track design makes it a practical option for sites with limited space or where a long ramp run for a conventional weighbridge would be impractical. Both long term and short term hire periods are available, so the equipment can be scaled to match the length of the project or the duration of cover required.

Approvals

Where required, Phoenix Scales will stamp the hired weighbridge for trade use, certifying it as suitable for legal-for-trade weighing such as invoicing goods in and out by weight. Phoenix Scales is a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory and an ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified company, and our engineers deliver, install and calibrate every hired weighbridge with UKAS-traceable certification. Ongoing servicing and calibration support is available throughout the hire period to keep the weighbridge accurate and compliant for as long as it remains on site.
