WeiMonitor Software

WeiMonitor is the PC program which allows you to monitor and record in real time all the weighings made on the connected scale, storing them in a text or Excel file for further processing. It turns a standard weighing indicator into a data-logging weighing station, so results can be reviewed, shared and analysed away from the scale itself rather than being read once from the display and lost.

Specification

WeiMonitor displays the live weight reading from the connected scale on the PC screen, and includes the ability to manage semiautomatic tare through a dedicated key, so container or vehicle weight can be zeroed out quickly during a weighing sequence. Recording can be triggered manually, by pressing a key of your choice on the PC or directly on the scale itself, which suits operators who want to capture a reading at a specific moment such as the end of a fill or load cycle. The software also supports automatic recording over a determined amount of time, with a programmable reading frequency, so repeated readings can be logged unattended over a shift, a batch run or a longer monitoring period. All recorded data is stored in either a text (.txt) or Excel (.xls) file, making it straightforward to import into spreadsheets, quality records or other business systems.

Capacity & Application

Because WeiMonitor works with the scale it is connected to, it is used wherever a business already has a compatible weighing indicator and needs a permanent, reviewable record of what was weighed rather than just a momentary display reading. Typical applications include quality control and batching processes where every reading needs to be logged, goods-in and goods-out checks where a written record supports stock or invoicing queries, and unattended monitoring tasks where automatic, timed recording removes the need for an operator to note down each figure by hand. The choice of manual or automatic recording, and of text or Excel output, allows the software to be adapted to both simple spot-check applications and more demanding continuous monitoring applications.
