Lift Top Scale

The VWSLT is a premium quality, UK made, hygienic stainless steel weighing scale with an easy lift top plate. Stainless steel gas struts ensure an effortless top plate lift which provides easy access to the specially designed wash-through base frame. With its complete stainless steel construction and fully protected IP69K rated load cells, the UK made VWSLT can easily withstand high pressure washdown for a complete hygienic clean. The platforms are available as free standing or dormant (pit mounted) and come with optional ramps for easy access.

Specification

The VWSLT is built from 304 grade stainless steel and is fully washdown rated, with a pro bead blasted finish that supports thorough cleaning and a hygienic appearance. The gas assist lift top, using stainless gas struts, gives an effortless lift so the wash-through base frame beneath can be accessed and cleaned quickly as part of routine hygiene procedures. IP69K stainless load cells are fully protected against high pressure, high temperature washdown, and the platform carries OIML approval and a 2 year warranty as standard. Optional upgrades include ATEX certification and 316 grade stainless steel construction, for use in hazardous areas or more corrosive environments respectively.

Capacity & Application

The VWSLT has a maximum capacity of 3,000 kg, making it suitable for weighing pallets, bins, tanks and other substantial loads in food, pharmaceutical and general industrial environments where hygienic cleaning is a priority. The platform is available as free standing or dormant, pit mounted, with optional ramp and pit frame accessories, so it can be installed flush with the floor for easy access by pallet trucks or other wheeled equipment. Being fully customisable, the VWSLT can be specified to suit a wide range of hygienic weighing applications, from standard washdown areas through to more demanding ATEX or highly corrosive environments using the 316 stainless steel option.

Approvals

The VWSLT is OIML approved and comes with a 2 year warranty as standard, and can optionally be specified with ATEX certification for use in hazardous areas. Phoenix Scales is a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory and an ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Essentials certified company. We supply, install and calibrate the VWSLT range with UKAS-traceable certification, and our engineers provide ongoing servicing, repair and re-calibration support to keep each platform performing accurately throughout its working life.
