Crane Scales

Crane Scales

Crane scales and foundry crane scales are supplied for all application. Crane scales are robust weighing devices designed to measure the weight of suspended loads, making them ideal for industrial environments such as manufacturing facilities, shipping yards, and construction sites. These scales are typically attached to cranes, hoists, or other lifting equipment, enabling the safe and efficient weighing of large or bulky items without the need to place them on a conventional platform. Whether you are operating in a foundry with temperatures of up to 1800 degrees or general steel works we can offer the correct crane scale for your application. We have three in-house Test Levers for calibrating crane scales and load links upto 30000 kg, which, along with all our test weights are traceable to National Standards and certified to ISO 9001:2015. These can also be linked to large scale remote displays or PC Systems, the choice is yours.

Key Features of Crane Scales

· High Capacity: Crane scales are engineered to handle significant weights, often ranging from several hundred kilograms to multiple tonnes, depending on the model.

· Durable Construction: Built to endure demanding industrial conditions & foundries, these scales are made from hard-wearing materials that offer long-term reliability and performance.

· Safety Features: Many crane scales are equipped with safety features such as overload protection, along with secure shackle and hook systems, to ensure safe operation during lifting and weighing tasks.

· Digital Displays: Modern crane scales are fitted with clear digital displays—often with remote control functionality—allowing operators to view measurements from a safe distance.

· Portability: Despite their heavy-duty design, many crane scales are portable, making them easy to transport and install across various work sites.

Applications of Crane Scales

Crane scales are used across a wide range of industries, including:

· Shipping and Logistics: Weighing cargo to ensure adherence to weight regulations.

· Manufacturing: Measuring raw materials or finished goods during production.

· Construction: Weighing building materials such as steel beams or concrete blocks during lifting operations.

· Foundries: Where high temperatures exist directly above the cupola 1400 degrees

· Warehousing: Accurately weighing large items for inventory management during storage and dispatch.
